Zurich, Switzerland
During our time in Zurich, our first of two day trips began with an outdoor exercise trail, followed by a tour of the Appenzeller Schaukäserei cheese factory. Our second day trip included visiting the Institute of Medical Microbiology at the University of Zurich to learn about their research, clinical laboratory, and PhD programs. We also visited a biotechnology startup to learn about their innovative method of ensuring safe food production. In our free time, we enjoyed fondue, walking along Lake Zurich, and stopping by the Lindt Factory.
